I had an interesting experience this week. One of my athletes get offered a major scholarship to a school in the states, and at the same time another athlete won his provincial volleyball championships. It made me reflect that we are all on our own personal journeys in this thing, and we need to celebrate what progress means to us.

As I sit and think of the year I am grateful. Grateful to have gotten engaged, grateful to be able to do what I love for a living, and grateful for every challenge that has come my way because although painful it has made me who I am today.

My biggest reflection this year is the importance of time. I am almost 33 years old, and although I feel (and sometimes think) like I am in my 20’s the reality is I am not getting any younger. I’ve learned that have to cherish the scarcity of time and invest time in what really matters to us (family, health, friends, travel, etc). Time is our most limited resource and if you don’t protect it it will pass you by. Invest time in yourself, invest in growth, and invest in what a meaningful life looks like to you.

Now it is time to sit down and rest, and 10X my goals for 2023.

Thank you to all of my friends, family, and clients for believing in me and allowing me to do what I love for a living. Get out there and do stuff people, we only get one crack at this thing.
